Our boys ...

Well as I posted previously, André was home in RSA for the Super 14 final between the Sharks and Bulls. We have recovered sufficiently by now to talk about the trauma, hehehe
André had a fabulous weekend at home - thanks Mommy for looking out for my boy - but we have to add, a great weekend considering !
Sadly our boys led for 80 minutes - yes a game of rugby IS meant to be 80 minutes. So you're saying well if we led for 80 minutes, we must have won the final and are over-the-moon ??? Well through some silly mistakes and a ref that played overtime :grrr: we lost due to a Bulls try with conversion after 83 minutes :boohoo:
It was a great weekend for my boy, well other than losing his phone at some stage of the evening - after the game. (So if anyone needs him .... you'll have to send your number and/or message to his email because he probably don't have your number no-more hehehe.)
He arrived back home rather tired but luckily had a day of leave available to recover.
Needless to say .... win or lose ....

I'm back but my boy is gone :(

Well I got back from SA on Saturday night late from our study trip. Was an awesome trip and I will be posting photos, take a look on the kids blog, no point in posting them all here and there !
And we flew into action - well actually by the time André picked me up in the evening he pretty much had everything sorted.
You see we had agreed that if our Sharks won their semi, and got a home final, André would get to fly home for the game. So being his birthday weekend and all....how could I let my jealousy get in the way and refuse my boy ???
He left this afternoon and will be back early in the week.
So we're alone at home again but its not soooo bad (don't tell André though) because we are all just super busy. School year ends in less than a month and so we have yearbooks, graduations, report cards, student-led conferences, portfolios, all the typical end of year stuff to be worrying about. Yay means we'll be visiting home again soon !

Would like to make mention that it is exactly 1 year and 1 day since my sister Alison had her stroke ! She continues to prove just how marvelous she is and how great God is at her continued progress. Thankyou to all my family, Mommy especially for looking after each other, it helps us sleep a whole lot easier.

Not much else except GO Sharks for Saturday. As a South African I will say even if somehow the Sharks don't pull it off (I am on your side here boys, don't get me wrong), it is against The Bulls and so it will be a SA side winning the competition and thats a good thing in itself.

Will update again soon, til then, have a great weekend family and friends !

Bosch Family goes to KINGS PARK (aka Absa Stadium Durban)

Okay so after our fabulous trip and wonderful score in Pretoria last weekend, as a family we headed for Kings Park yesterday to see the Sharks play the Cheetahs. It wasn't going to be as spectacular as last weekend - afterall we weren't staying in the same hotel as our boys this week hehehe but its been ages since the girls were at the stadium so ....
Great afternoon/evening together. Kim, Malcolm and Jordyn joined us, unfortunately Alison, Llewelyn and Keagan had a braai in Toti so they couldn't. Girls had a ball shouting for their team - The Sharks naturally :)
But they must be a curse or something cos our boys didn't quite shine as brightly as last weekend against the Bulls :(
We lost against the Cheetahs which effectively pushed us from the number two slot on the log down to four :(
Was great to catch up with Larry, Niki and the boys who we hadn't seen for years too :)

So anyway, enjoy the photos of our day together ....
Girls flying their Sharks flags proudly !

Now many would consider these ladies an EXCELLENT reason to attend a game at Kings Park :(
Aimee, Jordyn and Lucy getting with the spirit of things :)
The game is done, the Sharks have lost and we're kindof smiling ???

And the festivities on the outer fields begin !

Couldn't blame this very happy Cheetah's supporter posing for a photo with us now could you hehehe

And then he was off to go and celebrate and we headed home to lick our wounds :(

THE Team !!

Okay so very very very very very sadly the Stormers lost tonight, 13 may 2006.
Bulls won, with a bonus point and sneaked in with JUST 1 more than The Sharks in the points difference.
CONGRATULATIONS

Aldo, BGG, WGC and the Brummer Family and any other sudden Bulls supporters - your team won, let's just hope these boys can play as hard next Saturday in NZ !!!

The celebrations last night were good, the day was wonderful and bright, glory might have been shortlived for us Sharks supporters but it was lived and loved while we had it !

WOOOOOOHHHOOOOOO

Seems the support paid off ! Well done The Sharks !

Full time
Sharks 41 - 25 Force
Okay so here's the deal : Sharks and Bulls are in contention for the semi-final spot.
Bulls play the Stormers tomorrow !
We're banking on either a complete loss by the Bulls or a win by less than 32 points !
That way ..... Sharks will be winging their way to play the Canterbury Crusaders in Christ Church, NZ !
Where they'll need a whole wack more support !!!

So, for 13 May 2006 ONLY ....

GOOOO SSTTOOORRRRMMMMEEEEEEERRRRRSSSSSS !!!
